Fat Suzi

Postby Dwayne W » August 12th, 2017, 5:37 pm

Yesterday I picked up a 1979 GS750L for the sum of $300. 21K on the clock, nearly original without being hacked to pieces by any previous owners. Came with a box containing the stock airbox/filter, side panels and a few other loose items as well as the seat. Unloading her and pushing her 520+ pound bulk to the bike shed prompted me name her "Fat Suzi" (she's a beast compared to Tulia).

Plan is to put her on a diet and turn her into something similar to this...

Have fun pulling/refurbing the swingarm ;) (one of the first things I would go after, it has to be done so do it right away).
Might I suggest the 'Off Topic' sub forum (for non-tux stuff) rather than here on the 'classifieds'.
At one time I had to do The Ton
Now going 'fast with a slow bike' is More Fun

Good luck with little Ms Suzi, Dwayne.
And take a close look at that exhaust system extension: a genuine stinger tailpipe.
